What’s going on with British business? Can the UK economy really be struggling? With PwC’s global survey of CEO’s revealing an upbeat picture the FT asked me for my views.

Everywhere you look at the moment one newspaper or another are reporting impending doom and gloom, credit crunch woes and the iminent implosion of the UK economy.

PwC’s annual global survey of CEO’s reveals an altogether different picture – one of upbeat confidence and a real expectation that eveything will be alright in the end.
